20,000 Welcome the New Year in Wollongong
More than 20,000 locals and tourists celebrated 2018 at Acorn Lawyers' New Year's Eve celebrations held in Wollongong Harbour. Spectators were treated to a wide range of roaming circus performers, musical acts and an incredible firework spectacular.
The family-friendly night was a huge success with organisers praising the efforts from volunteers and emergency services to make sure the night was enjoyable and safe for the whole community. Wollongong's spirit was highlighted during the special moment when the whole crowd belted out "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman. View the firework spectacular below.
