Ash is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a legal practitioner. Ash assists clients with complex legal matters that require strategic direction and innovative approach. He works closely with his clients and the legal team to ensure that the clients are provided seamless services. Ash practiced law in Sydney for about 9 years before moving to Wollongong in early 2009.
James joined Acorn Lawyers as a principal in September 2012 and heads-up the firm's compensation and personal injury team. After his admission in 1995, following completion of the punishing Solicitor's Admission Board course James worked for several of Sydney's best known mid-tier firms before moving to Wollongong in 2008.
Anne graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1980 completing Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. She was admitted as a Solicitor in New South Wales in June 1981 and became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law in November 1999. She was elevated to a partner at Verekers Wollongong Lawyers in July 2000.
Simone began her career as a solicitor in July 2010 with Acorn Lawyers. Rocco Musumeci is an Senior Associate of Acorn Lawyers practicing in the areas of estate planning and commercial law. Rocco has a passion for developing comprehensive estate plans tailored to meet the objectives of our clients, with a particular focus on the use of an array of complex testamentary trusts aimed at offering increased asset protection and opportunities for tax minimisation.
Ellen was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011 and the High Court of Australia in 2013. Ellen joined Acorn Lawyers in 2016 after spending 5 years in Sydney as a solicitor for a NSW Government Agency. She recently became a Migration Agent to meet growing demand in this space.
Elizabeth has a wide range of experience related to property law such as reviewing, advising and preparing contracts, real estate agency agreements, real estate franchise agreements, real estate rent roll transactions, reviewing, advising and preparing retail and commercial leases, probate notice and transfers.
Sarah graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2012 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English Literature. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Wollongong in 2013 and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in August 2013.
Rachael graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce. She completed her Practical Legal Training in 2016 and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2016. Rachael joined Acorn Lawyers in October 2016.Rachael is an integral member of the Compensation law team.
Irfana graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2018 with a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) double degree. She completed her Practical Legal Training at the Australian National University, Canberra in 2018 and was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 2018. Irfana joined Acorn Lawyers in April 2018.
Monique graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws. She completed her Practical Legal Training at the College of Law, Sydney in 2018 and was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in August 2018.

Peter is an Accredited Family Law Specialist having a vast knowledge of and workings in the areas of family law, conveyancing, property, criminal law and general legal work. Peter is accredited as a child representative to appear on behalf of children in the Family & Federal Magistrates Courts. In addition, Peter is an appointed conference Mediator & Chairperson with the Legal Aid Commission
Justin joined Acorn Lawyers as Director of Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution in 2018.Justin graduated from University of Sydney in 1996, completing a Diploma of Law. Shortly after qualifying in law, Justin commenced practice as a barrister at the Sydney Bar, where he worked for 15 years. In 2012 he recommenced practice as a litigation solicitor.
